Montréal, June 11, 2009 – François Boulet joins the Inpix team as Content Director

Normand Bélisle, President of Inpix, is pleased to announce the nomination of François Boulet to the position of Content Director. François will be responsible for developing convergence projects with media stakeholders (broadcasters, TV producers, portals, written media) and for devising content strategies for our clients.

“Content is at the heart of all our clients’ interactive strategies, whether they’re advertisers, media groups, TV producers or businesses. With François on board, we’ll be able to meet their operational and strategic needs in this respect,” explains Inpix president Normand Bélisle.

Inpix thus enhances its offer of services in interactive communication. In a world where the power is in the consumer’s hands, Inpix erases the lines between advertising and content by creating a memorable and lasting brand experience for the public.

Wired since 1989 and an architect of the Québec web since 1994, François Boulet has spent the last eight years linking television and the Internet. In 2001, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation hired him to manage their project to digitalize their archives and place them online. Launched in 2002, the CBC/Radio-Canada TV and radio archives site remains a Web reference for multimedia content, even today. At CBC/SRC until 2006, he also contributed to the evolution of radio-canada.ca, one of Canada’s biggest Internet sites. In 2006, Astral Media recruited him as Vice-President of Interactive Media to implement an Internet strategy for its six TV specialty channels. François has also worked for Cossette, Canoë and Branchez-vous!
